Tempting aromas of hazelnut, toffee and iris blossom fuse with concentrated dark cacao-scented oak and hints of nutmeg, showcasing the intense flavors to follow. An opulent entry opens the way to wild huckleberry marmalade, wild plum, and spice with a smidgen of cherry tobacco and traces of sweet anise with chocolate truffle residing in the background. As the layers contribute to the complexity, so do the round supple tannins and integrated oak.
